Letting out a room to a business

Postby Money advisor » Wed Sep 05, 2018 8:22 pm

I am hoping to let out a furnished room above my detached garage of my home to a tuition business for £100pw.

Can anyone tell me if i will need to pay income tax on this, will I need to pay business rates, or CGT on sale in future.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you

Yes.
Possibly.
Yes.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
