non dom international gift

I have an international investment of ~50K GBP and want to bring it to uk. As a non dom uk resident and the taxation complexities around remittances, etc, can I gift it to my child who is also uk resident?

No, that would still be deemed a remittance as you are gifting to a relevant person for their 'enjoyment' in the UK.

How old is your child?

Presumably the foreign income/gains giving rise to the invested monies arose post 6 April 2008?
