Not VAT, but Tax 20% on the invoice

Postby Zb » Tue Oct 10, 2017 8:44 pm

Hi, a carpenter built a wardrobe at my house, he confirmed he is not VAT registered and when I asked for the invoice he supplied an invoice without invoice number and the amount has been increased by 20% that is not Vat, but he calls it TAX. What kind of tax is it? Is he allowed to charge this with private client. Thank you

You only need to pay the amount agreed with him.
