Hi folks. Hopefully a simple question for the experts here!
For CGT, can I offset in the same tax-year gains made on the disposal of UK shares / unit trusts against a loss (after allowable costs) on the sale of a second home? From what I've read, I'm thinking the answer is Yes - but I'm wondering if maybe because they're different asset classes they may not be offsetable?
Thanks.
