tax from sale of land

Postby Jasmyne » Sun Sep 17, 2017 11:35 pm

I am helping an old lady with her tax. Her only income is her state pension. She recently sold a piece of land for building and gained a one off sum. Can she spread the tax in any way over years to make the most of any allowances she could get?
