US company investing in UK company - Dividends

Postby sw1085 » Thu Oct 19, 2017 1:47 pm

Hi there

I hope someone is knowledgeable about this area and I can help - its about UK dividends being paid to US investors.

We are a small US company based in Alaska and we are going to incorporate a UK company with it being owned 100% by us.

When the company makes a small dividend to us each year. Will it have withholding tax deducted at the source or will the net amount be paid to us?

Where would we report the dividends paid to us the CT600? Is there any other paperwork we have to do for this?

We are not going to be resident in the UK ever as we have a local person who will server as our director.

Thanks alot for any help you can give. ;)
