Hello,

I have a case where where someone is a subcontractor and working through a LTD. He is having CIS deducted from the income of 20%. How is the CIS tax credit dealt with please.

It is set against the company paye liabilities including any cis tax that is owed when paying subcontractors, any surplus as at 5th April can then be reclaimed via the appropriate tortuous method that hmrc use.
