IHT Theshold and property left to children.

Currently for 2017-18 the Nil rate for IHT is increased by
£100k per person on property passed onto children and/or
grandchildren. This will increase to £175 pp by tax year 2020-21.
Is it necessary to write into the Will that the property is for the children
specifically if they are sole beneficiaries of a Will anyway?
