EIS loss relief

Postby kevincab » Wed Jan 10, 2018 8:25 am

Dear all,

I invested in EIS-eligible Ltd in the tax year 2016/17 and unfortunately the company went to liquidation with zero value to shareholders in the tax year 2017/18. I understand I need to claim EIS loss relief in tax year 2017/18 but I want to know whether I can access it earlier - is there a mechanism to gain the tax relief before filing the 2017/18 tax return?

Many thanks.
