PPR relief

Postby Frank13 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 10:46 am

I am employed overseas and will remain here for another 2 years. My wife is returning to the UK with our family and will live in a newly acquired property which is the only property that we own. I live in rented accommodation overseas.

My wife will qualify for PPR relief for the 2 years I remain overseas as she will be living in our home full-time, but will I as I will only live in the property during my periods of annual leave?

Thanks

Frank

Yes.

A married couple can only have one sole or main residence which will be the newly acquired UK home.
