Redundancy Payment - tax mitigation

Postby PizzaMan » Wed Mar 21, 2018 2:43 pm

Is there any way to reduce tax liability on a six figure redundancy payment?

I'm aware of the 30 K exemption.
I can't pay money into a pension due to earlier fixed protection.
Employer will only pay the redundancy payment in one chunk.

Thanks.

Have a look at VCT, EISI, SEIS and/or SITR investments.
