income tax reduction query

Hi, i received my payslip today and was shocked to see my net pay had gone up by £150.
i received an inflationary pay rise in the month just shy of £600, however most interesting is that my tax has reduced by £150 and NI reduced slightly.

my tax code hasnt changed (1150L), any ideas on why my net pay has gone up so much?

i was expecting a modest net pay increase like £20, due to the inflationary payrise however i knew my salary sacrifice went from 1% to 3% so wasnt sure on my net pay overall.

Tax decreased by £150, and net pay increased by £150. Arithmetically that sounds correct.

As to why, unless you want to give the details from your last 2 payslips, no-one can say.
