"First time buyer" policy is so weird for kids

Postby wildraid » Mon Jul 30, 2018 10:07 pm

I was born outside of the UK. I moved to live the UK few years ago.
I never purchased a property anywhere in the world.

In my home country there is a legal requirement for children to own a share or parents property. I technically "owned" a share when I was a small kid. I gifted my share back to my parents before moving to live in the UK and before becoming UK tax resident.

Am I a "first time buyer" according to current rules? :?

Thank you.
