Company Car BIK

Help please

I currently have a basic salary of £36k (around £50k with bonus) & I am looking at getting a new car via Lex through the company scheme. However when I put in the details for a car on the Lex Portal it doubles the monthly BIK if you are a 20% or 40% tax payer........I cant get my head around this - can anyone please spell this out for me?

Cheers folks

Maybe because 40% is twice 20%?
