For many years I have filed a Self Assessment tax form with no other income to declare. This year I have small PAYE earnings ( under £1000 so not taxed at source). How does my tax allowance work in this case? Thank you.

Sorry, the above should have read PAYE earnings under £10,000.

You don't say what your other income is.

Your tax allowance is not affected by your income unless you are earning more than £100K, but I don't think that is what you are asking, Can you be more specific?
