Helpful to clarify exactly what your business does, to make sure there is no confusion for tax purposes. For example, it looks like you introduce the art...

VAT on Discounted Beer

Not clear how you are doing this.

Is the £1 voucher sold to get a pint in the future or does it give £1 off the usual price ?

VAT Incorrectly Charged on Export From EU

As an export to a non-EU consumer the item(s) would appear to be zero-rated for VAT but it appears you have been charged standard-rated VAT. The obstruction from the retailer may just be them not understanding the position. Then again maybe not. First step is to double-check the "VAT" charged is not...

But with VAT and property it all really turns on the detailed facts and it might be unwise to wing it without specialist advice on the inputs and outputs. Eamon Mc N...

Flat Rate Scheme and EU Sales

If the supplies to another EU state are to be treated for the place of supply rules as outside UK VAT, which needs to be verified, then the turnover involved might be left out of account for the UK scheme turnover. See HMRC Notice 733 "Flat Rate Scheme for Small Businesses", especially para. 6.4. Ea...

Query Landfill Tax

The question is not clear on what is "put in" to the quarry, but if there are deposits then this raises the issue of landfill tax.
