Thanks. Luckily I only needed the basics (I got lost in the last post).

I got hit by the tax on dividends a couple of years ago before all the changes, so I gifted some to spouse and moved some into ISA so I currently don't hit anything near the 2K dividends.

OK Thanks. Her HK account is for convenience, not even sure if any interest is earned. Also she is not working hence no income.

What are to implications would we face if we fail to provide the details? As the HK bank is requesting for a TIN (Tax id number) which I believe UK don't use.
