Another phone call to Germany revealed that I should wait for the German tax bill. Does that mean that they are not deducting tax at source? Or do you mean you are also submitting a German tax return? I received a huge tax form to fill in (in German).. Since I have problems enough filling in forms ...

A bit of clarification to my original post.. The only pension I receive from Germany is a state pension. This is definitely taxed by Germany, I’ve been told by the relevant German authority to wait for them to send me a bill. This German pension should not be taxed in the uk. Article 17(2) Uk German...
