Taxes and spouse of diplomat

Postby notsowise » Fri Jan 12, 2018 11:28 pm

Seeking advice or tips on where to search for more information about personal income taxes, please.

I'm a citizen of Country A, and I moved to Country B for 3 years. During this time, I obtained a resident's card for Country B that lasts for 10 years. This year, my spouse and I are moving to Country C (receiving Country) for 8 years. I have been paying income taxes to Country B during my time in Country B.

According to the Vienna convention on diplomatic relations, I read (and hopefully understood correctly!) that the family of the diplomat, like the diplomat, is not due to pay taxes in the receiving Country (C).

According to Country B, my resident's card will expire after 3 years of non-residency in Country B.

Where should my taxes go? My business is a sole proprietorship incorporated in Country A. Is it thus Country A? I'm very confused.
