If i buy my brothers share of a property we inherited would i need to pay stamp duty?
The house is valued at £230.000 i want to sell my own house to to use its equity plus take out a small mortgage to pay my brother £115.000.
Would stamp duty be nil, on £115.000 or on the full £230000
