My family home is in trust with my brother and I.

I don't live in the property and do not earn an income from it.

I want to buy my first home but am not sure If I will need to pay the additional stamp duty as technically my name is on the deeds of a property that my brother lives in.

What is the nature of the trust?

My father, brother and myself where named as trustees, my father lived there with my brother. A number of years ago my father went into a care home. He recently passed away so my brother and I are now the trustees.
