SDLT question (another one)

Postby stressedmum » Mon Jun 03, 2019 11:42 pm

Hi,

We are looking to buy our first home in the UK for a value of £475.000. While this is our first main residence, we do own 2 buy-to-let flats in France (each flat value is under £40.000).

I understand we don't have the right to the FTB rebate, but can we at least avoid to pay the 3% surcharge? :|

thanks

Yes, so long as the other two are both under £40k
