Hi there! If I have a website that's accessed on a subscription basis (customers pay a monthly subscription fee for access to content) is that zero rated under the new rules for VAT on e-publications, e-books etc.? Think on-line newspaper but more niche content. If it's zero rated does that then mean I can ignore these awful VATMOSS rules for customers who subscribe from overseas? Also, as far as I can tell these new zero rating rules came in from 1st May 2020 due to Covid. Can anyone else confirm that?
Thank you!
