Transfer Of a Business as a Going Concern (TOGC)

Postby Bazman » Tue Jan 18, 2022 10:53 pm

Hi there,

If I am buying part of an existing business, from a sole trader who is not VAT registered because he is under the threshold, am I right to assume that there is not Value Added Tax payable on this transaction?

Thanks

Baz

Not registered-No Tax.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
