We purchased Items from Ebay but no invoice or receipt

Hello,

Can somebody help us to obain a copy of a sales tax invoice or receipt?
Is she, the so called seller, obliged to provide a copy of receipt or invoice? can she refuse to provide an invoice or receipt?

We purchased items on ebay and then asked for a copy (by email) of sales invoice or receipt but she refuses or simply ignores our email requests

We have ALL the emails and she never replied

We need this document for our records and also our local postal service asked the purchase invoice or receipt

Can you tell me if this seller is obliged to provide a sales tax invoice or receipt?

Can she simply ignore customer requests?

Maybe she is tring to sell ONLINE, without tax sales invoice or receipt?

I don't know the UK regulations and whether or not it's common for a trader to receive the funds and not to provide any documents.

They sell online, so maybe they don't need to pay taxes? That's why they do not provide a sales tax invoice or receipt?

2. Would you be better taking it up with eBay/PayPal?
3. Just because someone sells in the style "xxxx Ltd" does not mean that they are actually trading as a company. It could be an individual trying to appear more business-like.
4. The eBay/PayPal documentation and e-mails should suffice as proof of the transaction for your records.

If you are referring to a VAT invoice - then they are under no obligation to provide one unless they are VAT registered AND you are VAT registered.
