Transfer of Debts from Ltd Co

Postby ali4max » Wed Mar 27, 2013 6:34 pm

Please could you advise, I qualified as a social worker and registered with an employment agency who set me up with Costelloe Business Services Ltd as a Ltd Company. Costelloe set up 2 bank accounts for me and my wages were paid into there once they had taken tax/ni and their fees. I have not used the company since 2009 due to securing a permanent post. I have today received a bill from HMRC for £17k stating as Director of an MSC the debt is to be transferred to myself and I have 30 days to appeal, they have also opposed that a strike off that companies house i believe instigated as the company has been formant for 3 years! I'm not at all financially minded and haven't a clue what to do next!!!

Thanks :?

HMRC have been waging war against MSCs (Managed Service Companies) for a few years now - and Costelloe in particular, I believe.

You need to get professional help asap - from someone specialising in MSCs.
