Tax Credits dispute

Postby ct17 » Sat Nov 19, 2022 1:17 pm

I am being pursued for repayment of what HMRC claim to be tax credit overpayments dating back to 2009 and 2010 amounting to over £2750.
I have found what seems to be useful advice from but it also seems that site has not been updated since 2014ish
I'd be grateful for any advice on tactics to defeat what I feel sure is a claim that has no merit

In what sense does it have no merit?

You don't owe the amounts stated?

You owe different amounts?

You don't want to pay?
