Pension and tax

Postby Sunnyd » Fri Aug 21, 2020 5:58 pm

My uncle passed away. He had a workplace pension which pays out now every month to my aunt.
Does she need to declare tax on this or is it taxed automatically before it reaches her bank account?

Should be done under PAYE, so likely fine. Does she get payslips?

No payslips as far as i know it just gets paid into her bank account from the pension provider where my uncle used to work .
She does work 2x a week. So payslips from there i suppose.
