SEISS Grants Pensionable?

Postby martin11443 » Tue Feb 09, 2021 2:30 pm

Are the government Self Employed Income Support Scheme Grants pensionable? In other words, if the pension contribution that I wish to make this tax year is above my actual self employed earnings, can I do so.

e.g.: Self employed earnings £8,000. SEISS grants x3 £12,000. Total Income £20,000.

Can I make a pension contribution above £8,000?

I can find no explicit information on this from multiple web searches.

Many thanks.
