UK Pension - Trustees Allow Variation

Postby JEFF26R » Tue Apr 20, 2021 8:50 pm

Can Trustees of a UK pension, make a deed of variation? Similar to, or the same as, what is available under a UK Will.

As for the beneficiaries, in English law you may use something called a 'Deed of Variation'. A Deed of Variation is a legal document used by beneficiaries to change a deceased person’s will, allowing them to make alterations to any entitlements associated with the estate.

No.

Re a will, any DoV is executed by the beneficiaries under a will.
