Hi

If a professional pays legal fees for work permit to stay in UK. Is it allowed expense if he is self employed and employee as well?

Unfortunately such an expense is not incurred wholly and exclusively for the purposes of earning the profits of any trade. Additionally it is not necessarily incurred in the performance of any office or employment as it would not be incurred by every holder of such office or employment
