non-profit company claim VAT on exported goods

Postby cornerstone-acc » Thu Feb 13, 2020 6:16 pm

Hello, All

I have a question about VAT return . My company is limited by guarantee (non-profit). Recently, My company organized a fundraising event to help the hospitals in China. I purchased quite a lot of medical materials in the UK such as masks and goggles , then donated the all of goods to the hospitals in China. I am wondering if I can claim Vat back for the goods I purchased through VAT return.

Many thanks
