striking off a newly incorporated ltd company

Postby ryanvigna » Tue Feb 22, 2022 4:29 pm

Hello there,
I wanted to strike off my ltd that was incorporated in April 2021, so I contacted 4 accountants, and 2 of them said I can strike it off without doing any tax return or accounts filing, and the last 2 said the opposite...
I'm confused now, who's right/wrong
p.s: sales are less than £25k with no profit
thanks for the help in advance

You can do it without filing accounts at Companies House. But you ought to submit a corporation tax return with a balance sheet and income statement. You might get away without being asked for a tax return by HMRC but they might block the striking off process.
