New Limited Company Registration

Postby Martintaxes » Thu Oct 13, 2022 4:37 pm

Hi TW,
Strange one but I'm guessing it must have cropped up before!

I file a self-assessment every year for rental income. I want to now form and register a new limited company and the gov.uk website process asks me to register a new UTR. That then means I will end up with two UTRs, and I'm guessing that would be not so good!
Where am I going wrong?
Thanks in advance!

Martin.

You and your company are two separate entities. The company will needs it's own UTR for corp tax purposes.

What are you going to do with the new company.

Please don't put the property into it
