could you please tell me if i am leagally entitled to claim my child benefit while i live in spain as a resident, as i am moving there permanently very soon.

Not a benefits expert but I would assume that you would no longer to entitled to claim child benefit in the UK as you will no longer be resident here. You need to contact the Spanish equivalent of the benefits agency and see what benefits you may be entitled to whilst over there ( I assume the child is going with you).
