Unit trust accumulation units - cgt base price

Postby AlanJD » Wed Jun 04, 2014 12:38 pm

Is there an easy source of data for finding the base cost?

I'm looking at a unit trust which was held in 1982 (and has been merged/renamed since then). In an ideal world all the dividend slips for every distribution will leap into my hand so I can total up the reinvested payments and add them to the 1982 value.

Unfortunately my world doesn't work like that. Has anyone got any suggestions for useful websites which might have relevant data?

Otherwise it's back to the paperwork - I'm sure it's all there somewhere...

Alan
