CGT on sale of overseas property

Postby Seano » Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:25 pm

My wife and I own a property outside the EC which we have run as a holiday rental business for 6 years. We live in the UK and do not own a property here.
We are now selling to a buyer that wishes to take it is a going concern. The CGT on the gain will be over £400k.
Is it possible to claim entrenches relief instead or transfer ownership If the business into a company and sell that?

Are they furnished holiday lettings?

How many properties are involved?

Which country is involved?
