Entrepreneurs relief confirmation from HMRC

Postby Jetsetter4805 » Tue Oct 06, 2020 8:29 am

Hi All,

Does HMRC still provide written clearance/confirmation on eligibility for obtaining entrepreneurs relief in relation to voluntary liquidation of a one man limited co? I understand that I can apply for ER in the capital gains section of the self assessment tax return but wondered if HMRC still give an indication in writing prior to commencing the voluntary liquidation.

Thanks in advance.
