Struggling to do this Capital Gain Calculation

Hi All,

I can't seem to figure out what my losses were for 2019/2020 & 2020/2021. I can calculate total losses but struggling to split what the losses where each tax year. can anyone advise what calculations I should be using ? below is my orders I made

You haven't specified but these must be shares?

You need to have an understanding of the share matching rules before you can work out costs and therefore, your gains/losses.

looks very complicated, but what if one is a frequent trader, has many issues with similarly active in/out deals? how can one fill in zillions of sheets (especially if it is done with paper, not online), online broker gives perfectly good summaries, by issue, p&l, purchase amount/sale amount, no need to carry over end of tax year as positions are closed at that moment already, as there are numerous active traders in UK someone must have the answer
