Cgt on estate / property disposal

Postby Samp » Fri Mar 11, 2022 11:22 pm

Hello. I am one of three siblings that are executors and beneficiaries of my late mothers estate. We are selling her property which will be liable for Cgt. We have put in place deeds of appropriation to split the ownership, and CGT, 4 equal ways (25% left with the estate). On submission of sa900 and Sa905 I believe I have to indicate interested parties and that the Cgt calculation is based upon on the proportion in the estate (ie 25% of the total gain between probate valuation and sale).

Do I need to submit copies of the deeds of appropriation along with the SA900 and SA905 to evidence the split interests and therefore the split gain used for the calc?

Thanks.
