Property disposal

Postby steven13 » Thu May 05, 2022 12:53 pm

In June 2021 I sold a property which had been both for a period my Private Residence but had also for a period been let out. Following the sale I completed the required Capital Gains Return and submitted it to HMRC; there being no tax liability arising as the gain was covered by the annual allowance.
I am now completing my Self Assessment Return covering 2021/22 and I would be grateful if someone would confirm as to what information should be included again on that form in relation to the property disposal.
Thanks

Generally, the same details that were reported on the UK Property Return. FYI, the latter wouldn't have actually been required on the basis of no tax being due.
