Capital allowance claiming using specialists?

Postby Benj789 » Fri Feb 07, 2025 9:06 am

Our family will be closing our ltd company and selling the commercial building soon - it’s a huge building 1700sq metres, sale price about £1.5m

Our accountants for the last ten years have claimed for some capital allowances

But it seems there are specialist firms that help you claim for more capital allowances that a general accountant might know about?

We’re due to pay huge corporation tax bill on the profits of the sale, (£300k!) so I’m wondering if involving a specialist could be worthwhile?

Has anyone experience with these firms?

My google search has suggested companies like Forrest Brown, Six Forward

Any advice hugely appreciated, thank you
