Are you entitled to holiday pay?

Under the working time directive “workers” (which includes agency workers) are entitled to paid holiday. In cash terms, this could amount to some 4 weeks pay. If your contract is finished, and you have not had leave or been paid holiday pay, you may be entitled to this money. It is not acceptable for agencies to simply say that the holiday pay is “rolled up” into the hourly or daily rate already paid.
I am a solicitor specializing in this area. I charge a fixed fee of £200.00 (plus vat and disbursements) for phone calls and letters pre-action. In many cases, this could be enough to persuade an agency to pay up. They may even be persuaded to pay the fee.
