Donations to non profitable charitable group LTD company

Postby moman » Fri Feb 14, 2020 11:52 pm

Hi,

I have recently agreed to help a not for profit charitable organisation complete their CT600 and annual accounts. They are currently trading as a LTD company, although this will hopefully change in the future as we move to charitable status.

Over the past three years they have received the following income and I do not know if this is taxable and should be included in the CT600

1. Corporate donations to help run the organisaton.
2. Donations from individuals.
3. Annual membership fees from individuals (another form of donation really)
3. Sales of t-shirts and other merchandise

None of the income is ever paid to the directors.

I am just wondering what I need to include in the companies house return as taxable income.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
