Associated company training

Postby LivingLive » Wed Apr 20, 2022 4:36 pm

Hi,

Our company does regular sales training events/meetings to our sales team, including providing food and drink (e.g. basic working lunch, and possibly a light evening meal, nothing too lavish). Do I understand correctly that if even one person from our sister company joins the training, then the entire event becomes entertainment and not allowable? Is there an easy way around this (preferably without charging the sister company a fee to attend).

Thanks for any thoughts.
