I have a small business and I have not yet got around to completing my 2001/02 self-assessment tax return and think that it will not be ready for sending to Inland Revenue until May 2003. I normally to pay additional income tax of around #8000 on top of my payment on account and have plan to pay this in May 2003.
I believe that the deadline for sending my 2001/02 tax return to the inland revenue and paying my outstanding tax for 2001/02 is 5th April 2003. Do you think the inland revenue will penalise me as I'll be "little late with my Personal tax affairs"
