UK Tax liable?

Postby mjh101070 » Thu Jan 09, 2020 10:19 am

Am I UK tax liable?

I work in Central Europe as a contractor for a Hong Kong company.

My wife and son moved to the UK September 2019.

I personally will spend approx 60 - 75 days in the UK.

At present, I make my tax declaration in HKG.

No.
You don't mention your domicile.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA

So as I am still a perm resident of HKG I have continued to declare my taxes there.

Everyone has a domicile. Probably where you were born, unless you've changed it.
