Gigaclear - Wayleave payment.

Gigaclear want permission to lay cables at the boundary of my property (fine by me). They are offering a one off £75 payment (what I believe is called a Wayleave). I presume this would be taxable?

If it's an annual payment it would be a wayleave and taxable.
If it's one off it's probably deemed to be capital, and below the annual exemption for CGT.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
