Tax residency

Postby SheldonHopkins » Tue Feb 01, 2022 2:57 pm

I have a problem regarding tax residency status.
I am still self-employed in the UK but I also stay in Poland. In my current situation I need to stay 91 days a year in the UK to qualify as a tax resident.
Can I stay 182 days (or more) continuously to cover two tax years: 91 days in the 2022/2023 tax year (Jan 2023 - Mar 2023) and 91 days in the 2023/24 tax year (April 2023 - Jun 2023)? Would it be sufficient for both tax years (2022/2023 and 2023/2024) ?
