Taxed money to my wife

Postby Drthartley » Tue Feb 22, 2022 4:17 pm

Hi, this may seem a stupid question. I am married and my wife doesn’t work. I have a PAYE job with extra locum work ontop. I am in the highest tax bracket. I give my wife £1250 each month. I have already been taxed on this money. Any way i can claim the tax back on this money?

Only in your dreams.
With a pinch of salt take what I say, but don't exceed your RDA
